I most certainly do; simply because so many of the unfinished prophecies of Scripture appear to be on the brink of fulfillment. More and more every day the headlines declare loud and clear the fact that we are in the season of the Lord’s return. While throughout history every generation of the Church might have declared the same reasoning, I believe we, more so than any other generation, see the signs of the times that were spoken about. The Bible says that the time of the end will be plagued by:
  • Perilous Times (War) – 2 Tim. 3:1; Matt 24:6-7; Luke 21:25
  • Unholy, fierce, murderous people – 2 Tim. 3:1-4
  • Earthquakes in Diverse places – Luke 21:11; Matt 24:7
  • Famines, Pestilence, Disease, Plagues – Luke 21:11; Matt 24:7
  • A Russia/Arab Confederacy – Ezek. 28:2
  • A call for world Peace – 1 Thess. 5:3; Daniel 8:25
  • Great Signs and Fearful Sights – Luke 21:11; Luke 21:25-26; Rev. 16:8-9; Rev. 16:8
  • A Future Temple in Jerusalem – Rev 11:1; Daniel 9:26-27; Matt 24:15-16
  • Israel being a ‘sore spot’ in world politics – Heb 8:10; Zech 12:2; Jer 31:10-11; Joel 3:2; Isa 11:12; Ezek. 34:28.
  • Knowledge will be Increased – Dan 12:4
  • Great Apostasy and Falling away – 2 Thess. 2:3; 2 Tim. 3:1-4; 2 Tim. 3:13; Romans 1:22-32; Rev 18:23; 2 Thess 2:0-11; 1 Tim 4:1; 2 Tim 4:3-4
  • False Prophets/False Christs/ False Wonders – Mark 13:22; Matt 24:11; Matt 7:22-23
  • Sexual Immorality – Rom 1:26-27; Luke 17:26,28-30; 2 Tim 3:1-4
  • Christian Persecution – Matt 24:9; 2 Timothy 3:3-4
  • Mark of the Beast Technologies – Rev 13:17
  • Rebirthed Roman Empire - Dan 2:33,41; Dan 7:7; Rev 13:1-2
  • New One-World Government – Dan 2:33,41; Dan 7:7; Rev 13:1-2
  • One World Religion – Rev 17:5

All of these things we are already seeing, or at least we are witnessing the very near shadows of these things to come.

The Bible tells us that the darkest days of earth's history are not behind us, but rather in front of us. The Bible warns that these dark days will contain awesome and terrifying events and that they will come upon the world with no immediate warning. All will be taken by surprise by these events, except for those that watch and know. By studying the scriptures like those I’ve listed above, we can see that there are indeed many 'signs' that we are to watch for to indicate that the time is near. If you think about it, we practice similar discernment every year in the spring. When I see that the days are getting longer, the snow begins to melt (for us Canadians), the trees bud, and the grass begins to green, I know that summer is near. Likewise, all these signs we are witnessing (right now and in this generation) are simply the signs that summer is coming. Are we in the season of the Lord’s return? You bet. We have more reason to believe that summer is just around the corner than any generation that has preceded us. This is exactly what the Lord Jesus was telling us in Matthew 24:32-33.

"Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!” – Matt 24:32-22

  • Can people be Saved After the Rapture?

To understand the question at hand, and the existance of Tribulation Saints after the rapture we need to understand the relationship between the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ. This relationship began on the Day of Pentacost when the Holy Spirit (the comforter) came to earth as Christ had promised. The idea is not necessarily a complicated one, but

  • Does God speaking today through Signs of Nature?

As God is sovereign and in control of everything I would have to admit that He can in fact speak through signs in nature. He might not be directly speaking through it in some judgment, but he is always indirectly speaking through creation. Romans 1:20 tells us that God’s invisible attributes are revealed to, and can be understood by, the

  • Why Are Dan and Ephraim missing from the tribes in Revelation 7:4-8?

In Genesis 49 we are given prophecies about the tribes of Israel. Information of interest to us in answering this question is found in verses 16 and 17. "Dan shall judge his people As one of the tribes of Israel. Dan shall be a serpent by the way, A viper by the path, That bites the horse's heels So that

  • Is there a Hell? A Place of Eternal Punishment?

What does Christ Say? Mark 9 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend

  • What is Wrong with Theistic Evolution?

Isa 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded. The concept of evolution and a billion year old earth is something that everyone has heard at some point in time or another. As Christians we are not exempt from the exposure

  • Is it possible to follow the ideas of Buddhism and still be a 'Proper' Christian?

Answer: NO. (Matthew 6:24 ESV) “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. You cannot devote your self to two conflicting belief systems, either you will hate the one and love the other,

  • Why do I feel like I am never good enough?

Answer: Because you are not good enough, through Adam sin and the knowledge of good and evil has been passed down to all mankind. Now this may seem like a harsh and depressing reply, so let me explain further with scripture. (Romans 3:10-12 ESV) as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one no one understands no one seeks

  • Can God Create a Stone He Cannot Lift?

That’s quite a question. And a question that is often asked by atheists and those outside of the Christian faith in attempts at creating a paradox that would seem to suggest the concept of God is impossible. It is also sometimes asked by those who are Christian because it does appear to have a paradoxical answer. The answer seems to be

  • Did God Create Evil?

Did God Create Evil? Evil is not actually a created thing. God did not create evil. Evil is simply the lack of good. Darkness is not a created thing. Darkness is the lack of light. You cannot shine darkness into light and overcome it. Darkness does not shine into your lit up house at night when you open the blinds.

  • Do you believe the European Union is a fulfillment of End TIme Prophecy?

Yes I sure do. The visions of the statue from Daniel 2, the beasts from Daniel 7 and the final beast from the sea of Revelation 13 makes it very clear that the final empire on the world stage - prior to Christ setting up His never ending kingdom - is a reborn Roman Empire. The fourth world empire in relation to

  • How do you interpret Daniel 12:4?

I have always interpreted Daniel 12:4 simply by the plain reading of the text. Of course we can not gain understanding of one simple passage unless we read it with the surrounding texts so we have to look at the surrounding passages to give clarity to this one verse. Daniel 12:1-4 tells us of a time when Michael the Archangel

  • How do you interpret Matthew 24:32-35?

Probably a little differently than others you may ask this same question of. Many prophecy commentators would relate this set of passages directly to the rebirth of Israel. The justification for this lies in Hosea 9:10 where we read, “I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its

  • What do you consider to be the Second Most Important Sign?

At first thought the apostasy of the Church came to mind, because of all the rash of weird and unscriptural movements such as the Emerging Church, the Word of Faith, Yoga and mysticism entering the church, but honestly I think the most prominent 'second' sign is that as defined in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 which does in fact contain elements of
